Group Masterclasses
3 Live video masterclasses each month with me, Eric. Whether you’re new to classical music or a seasoned enthusiast, this is a no-pressure place to dive into every aspect of this world in a live, online format. (And these masterclasses are really fun.)
Each participant receives a customized plan based on what they want to explore and potential 1:1 coaching opportunities that go beyond group sessions. They also receive direct and highly personalized support from Eric for the entire 6 months.
Customized Personal Plan
Music appreciation videos (diving into the great works), recording lists, quizzes (fun ones), scores, food and drink pairings (you’ve got to know which symphony pairs with which ice cream), and so much more to help you tap into your joy of music.
Resource Library
A private online group where members can request direct feedback from Eric on a regular basis and also connect with fellow program members.
Private Community
Interviews and appearances with top-notch guest musicians and speakers. It’s nice to have friends in high (musical) places.
Bonuses
These online options are designed to be flexible to fit your lifestyle. You don’t have to attend every session live—all sessions are recorded, and you can watch the replays at your convenience. This way, you can still enjoy the full experience even if your schedule doesn’t always align with the live sessions.

Example 1: Preparing for a Concert
Let’s say your hometown orchestra is performing a piece you’ve always wanted to understand more deeply, like Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7. You can bring this piece to our next live session, and we’ll dive into it together. I’ll offer insights from a conductor’s perspective, exploring the nuances, themes, and emotions behind the music. You’ll learn what to listen for, how different interpretations can bring out unique elements, and how conductors make choices that shape the performance. This way, when you attend the concert, you’ll experience the music with a deeper, more personal connection, enhancing your enjoyment and appreciation.
Example 2: Discovering a New Favourite Piece
Perhaps you’ve heard a snippet of a beautiful piece in a film or on a playlist, but you don’t know much about it. You bring it to one of our sessions—let’s say it’s Samuel Barber’s Adagio for Strings. We’ll explore the context of the piece, why it resonates so deeply, and how different conductors interpret its sweeping, emotional arcs. I’ll share my perspective on conducting this piece, and you’ll get to hear the various elements that make it so powerful. You’ll walk away with a richer understanding of the music, and perhaps a new favourite to add to your collection.
